Subject: Manitoba, Saskatchewan Could Lose Millions from Ottawa's $2B Carbon Fund
Apparently, Trudeau is afraid of the fall-out from imposing a carbon tax, so he has devised a plan to force provinces to do it for him. His misuse of public funds to coerce provinces into compliance with his edits is repugnant. He has no constitutional authority to spend public funds in provincial jurisdiction. Let alone to use funds intended for provinces as a tool to coerce provinces to adhere to federal policies.
Our Prime Minister lacks the courage of his convictions which is not surprising � we have been wondering what his conviction (if any) are. Why would he not stand behind his carbon pricing scheme if he honestly believes (1) that it will work; and (2) that it is in the best interests of Canadians?
He is quick with a quip and a curl of the lip
But substance is not his forte
Elected to serve he can�s steer the ship
And rather would just like to play.
