Subject: Comment by Tommy Thomas on electric vehicles

Gasoline-powered cars are the biggest users of oil and if they are electrified, oil consumption will be reduced drastically. As for long-distance trucks, they will have batter exchange system in which their batteries will be replaced with fully-charged batteries at stops. Also all truckers need rest and sleep after long driving and batteries can be recharged during those periods. Only airlines will need oil for aviation fuel. But this will be a small sector compared to automobile use.
