The PC Party "Prosperity Canada Programme "

Prosperity Canada Programme of The Progressive Canadian Party: Ten Visions for Canada.

As progressive-conservatives, as members and supporters of the PC Party, our duty is to communicate to our fellow citizens what we stand for and why their vote is so vital for the future.

1.FACILITATING POST SECONDARY EDUCATION:

-
We believe knowledge is paramount in our modern world for individuals and for Canada`s capability to be competitive.

-Free education must be extended to Canadians to allow them to fully develop their education at university, college and trade school levels.

-Subject to maintaining satisfactory grades each Canadian must be entitled as a right to 16 years of free education, not just the present 12.

2.REALIZING GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:
-Canada must identify our growth opportunities throughout all the World`s nations, but particularly fellow members of The Commonwealth of Nations and La francophonie,

-While our main trading partner, the U.S.A. has over consumed the bulk of our fellow nations in the Commonwealth and La francophonie are underdeveloped.

-Our investments, goods and services can extend prosperity for ourselves and these our cousins, particularly in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore.

3.HARNESSING RENEWABLE RESOURCES:
-There is a growing awareness that the world’s present energy resources are finite.

-This is the opportune time to fiscally forge what is needed in the form of renewable energy infrastructures.

-With the second largest land mass in the world, Canada can and should become a leading producer, exporter and consumer of wind, solar, thermal and tidal renewable energy.

4.PERSONAL INCOME REALIGNMENT AFTER TAXATION:
-So that 1% of the population does not control an unreasonable amount of the Nation’s personal income - 16%.

5.FACILITATING ROBOTICS IN INDUSTRY
-Robotics are leading to a new industrial revolution. Canada must be a world leader in this field.

6.MEETING DIFFERING NEEDS:
-A strong united Canada is fundamental but within our country there are diverse communities that require differing approaches to realize their economic potentials.

-One example is Hamilton, an urban community which has had heavy industry as its base. The city is in transition. We believe its future could include restructuring of their industry … of their factories … into the production of renewable energy infrastructure products which are in short supply throughout the world.

7.SERVING THE WORLD:
-Canada with coasts on east and west and north gives us the opportunity to revitalize Atlantic Canada as the hub for Eastern North America including the .US.A.’s New England states.

-Likewise Pacific Coastal British Columbia can become the gateway for Asian world trade into North America.

-Hudson’s Bay and our Arctic areas as they become increasingly icebound can and will facilitate serving the world with the export of our oil, natural gas, diamonds and agricultural products..

8.ALLYING FOR PEACE AND STABILITY:
-Canada can regain reputation as a peacemaker. Reaching out to work with our Commonwealth cousins, forging with them alliances to bring peace and stability to their regions when troubled

-Returning our focus to providing resources to the United Nations role of dispute settlement.

-Increasing Canadas  Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) `capabilities to provide immediate response.

9.BRINGING NEW HOPE:
-Canada has contributed to improving the living standards of our fellow members of the Commonwealth and Francophony.

-Canada can continue to work with our fellow developed countries United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand to work diligently toward increasing the standards  of all our cousins.

10.ACKNOWLEDGING OUR DEBT:
